Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night.
It was certainly a good night at Runcorn Golf Club and thanks to Fairways Bistro for a delicious meal – Thanks to Larraine & Sue for organising.
It was our Club Christmas Party, and we certainly let our hair down with some rather silly but enjoyable games – ‘Pass the Parcel’, accompanied by the famous poem ‘Twas the night before Christmas’, instead of music. A Piratical theme to ‘Sticky 13’s’ Bingo game, winning lots of Golden sovereigns (chocolate coins) as prizes, and of course the usual ‘Christmas Trivia Quiz’.
We would like to thank all our Supporters – with your help this Christmas we have been able to donate
- £500 to Runcorn & District Foodbank,
- $500 was spent on toys for children this Christmas and donated to Halton Family Hubs,
- £200 donated to Halton Foundation for education bursaries for young people
