Another fun night of club skittles

The club held its traditional curry and skittles night at Southwick Park Golf Club, welcoming friends and family, and visitors from SI Woking.  After a warm-up game, there was an individual competition, with each player having three lives and forfeiting one if they missed the skittles.  The first to lose all her lives, and therefore win the coveted wooden spoon, was Margaret Smith. The eventual winner, after the elimination of all other contenders, was Sue Dyer from Woking, although Christines White and Wilkes were in it right up to the last.
A raffle was run in aid of HEADWAY and over £50 was raised.
Credits go to Stella Astbury for organising the event, Rosemary Bell who ran the raffle, Carolyne Trew who did sterling work putting up the skittles helped by Margaret after her elimination, and Tracy Gardiner for running the competition.
