Our congratulations go to club member Ros Hardiman, who is to be inducted into the International Marathon Swimming Hall of Fame as part of the Class of 2024. The ceremony will be held in Cancun Mexico over a weekend in the middle of May.
While there she will be swimming in the El Cruce 10k open water event.
Her swimming career includes competing in both the 1996 Atlanta Paralympic Games and 2000 Sydney Paralympic Games, holding multiple world records in the S7 and SB6 disability classes. In open water, she has completed Southsea War Memorial to Ryde Isle of Wight and back, the English Channel, Lake Windermere and Loch Ness swims.
