SI Chichester & District Club organised a very popular event to celebrate its 60th anniversary on Thursday, 29 August. The demand for places was so great that the venue for lunch had to be changed to accommodate everyone. After a delicious and convivial meal at the Field & Fork at the Minerva Theatre, Judi Chaddock and Penny Bartlett jointly cut the Anniversary Cake, which tasted even better than it looked. Guests then walked across Oaklands Park to see a sparkling performance of Barnum, appropriately in a smart, state-of-the-art Big Top built as a replacement for the Festival Theatre while it is being re-furbished.
