On a gloriously sunny Sunday in late November members got together for a relaxed lunch at the Hotel Bristol Newquay. The Guest speaker was Daphne Skinnard of Radio Cornwall who spoke about her appointment as a deputy to the Lord Lieutenant of Cornwall. Rotarian and Soroptimister Ralph Curr proposed the toast to Soroptimist International, Not only is he married to a Soroptimist but his daughter & sister in law are members. Region President Elect Kay Turner responded to the toast, her first duty in her new post. A raffle for the Diamond Education Grant raised £268
