Cheques were presented to 2 local young women. The bursaries are to help with the expenses of their further education. Members donated packs of pants and socks for the Mens Refuge. Members supported Bosumbuddies afternoon tea. Members worked on the Library Garden in anticipation of Britain in Bloom. The Social event was a trip to Bosue Vineyard. Marie Glenys of our Friendship Link club in N Canterbury New Zealand, on holiday, joined us with her husband John. We ran a bottle tombola in aid of the Womens Refuges at the Wadebridge Vintage Fair, wearing our Ask Me why I am a Soroptimist badges. The end of the month was the League of St Austell Hospital Annual Fete and we ran a French themed raffle, other members attended the Region AGM and Friendship Weekend at Bradford on Avon.
