Success in the 10k Race

Sandra Jones (Vice President) ran the Middlesbrough 10k and raised £105 for the Butterwick Hospice despite having Parkinson’s Disease.  Out of 5000 taking part she came in at 2499.  Sandra lives for the moment and crams as much as she can into her very busy life.  She says she ‘adapts but never surrenders’ and doesn’t let Parkinson’s ‘define’ her.  Sandra has a great sense of humour and claims to be ‘one of the movers and shakers’ whist the children she teaches call her Mrs Wobble the Waitress.  Next year she will not be running alone but will be joined by other members of the club.
