White Ribbon UK is part of the global White Ribbon movement, working to prevent violence against women and girls by challenging the root causes of men’s violence — including harmful attitudes, behaviours, and rigid gender norms that perpetuate inequality and gender-based violence.
Soroptimists support UK White Ribbon Day on 25 November, a day dedicated to raising awareness, educating communities, and campaigning to change the cultures that allow violence against women and girls. It also marks the start of the 16 Days of Activism to End Gender-Based Violence.
