transform the lives of women and girls.
TORQUAY & DISTRICT CLUB
Our Club covers Torquay & the surrounding area. We are a friendly Club with 23 members who meet twice a month on the first and third Tuesday at 7.30pm at Rosegarth House, Torquay.
WHAT DO WE DO?
- On a local level we fund raise for a charity each year chosen by the current President. Past charities have included Devon in Sight, Children’s Hospice South West, Devon Air Ambulance, Herald Express Heart Appeal.
- Internationally we work for human rights, by supporting the education of children in under developed countries, facilitate landmine clearance, assist in the building of wells & many more projects worldwide.
- We enjoy varied social events.
- We meet people & make new friends.
- We have friendship links with Hameln, Lagos, Hyere & Bradford.
- We manage a house providing self contained accommodation for single women on a non profit making basis.
