July 2025
Our speakers will be the forensic accountant Dr Kay Linnell OBE and her business partner Barbara Jeremiah who formed the Justice for Subpostmasters Alliance (JFSA) and were instrumental in uncovering systemic flaws and advocating for restitution in the Horizon scandal. In addition to talking about their investigative work, Kay and Barbara will bring members up to date on progress in compensating the victims and holding to account those responsible.
November 2025
As we approach the 16 days of activism campaign to raise awareness of violence against women and girls, members will hear from Laura Toop, Chair of the Tunbridge Wells Independent Advisory Group which seeks to build a bridge between the community and the police. Laura will speak about the Together as Allies movement she founded with support from locally-based organisations including the Soroptimists designed to enhance residents’ real and perceived safety.
