Despite heavy rain the Winchester Half Marathon was a great success. Once again Winchester Soroptimists Myra and Gina took up their station at 8 am to check, receive baggage and wish the runners well.
Because of the weather the entire race village was brought into the Guildhall. This gave the Soroptimists a great chance to network. We were very very busy once the runners returned . Everyone was very appreciative of our efforts.
