The Mayor and Mayoress of Cowbridge with the Town Crier stopped by the Bridgend Soroptimists tombola stall at the Cowbridge Lions May Fair on 6 May.
The Bridgend club was raising funds for their President’s mental health charity.
The ‘Guess the Name of the Bear’ competition was won by Hannah Kennedy from Miskin who was spot on calling the bear Barnaby.
We were also delighted to see Alun Cairns MP who was very supportive of the Club’s activities and has agreed to be a guest speaker at a forthcoming meeting (promising that he will not speak on politics!)
