Bridgend Soroptimists’ Club Meeting at Heronston Hotel on 10th November was a great success. Turkey Dinners and Christmas Crackers saw 20 members enjoying fun and friendship with lots of laughter.
As well as the usual business agenda, President Gaynor congratulated Rayner Rees on her appointment to the Board of Trustees at Pipal Tree. Well Done Rayner.
We were also able to meet new member Lesley Dunlop face-to-face at and Lesley shared her story with us. What an interesting talk and what an incredible and varied career Lesley has had. She has written hundreds of articles in her role as a photographic magazine editor as well as several books. Lesley will certainly be a great asset to the Club. Welcome to SI Bridgend Lesley!
