Prospective members, club members and some friends/neighbours were sent invitations to attend for afternoon tea, coffee and cakes at the beautiful and colourful garden of one of our members on Saturday 27th July 2024.
There was an opportunity to give a voluntary donation to Next Link Domestic Abuse Services, the charity Soroptimist Bristol is supporting this year.
Members had collected books to hold a very well stocked book stall and contributed to a cake stall with scones and delicious cakes.
Everyone had a fun, sociable afternoon in glorious sunshine in a very beautiful garden. We were delighted to have 45 people attending the occasion.
An extra outcome was £250 raised for Next Link.
