A few members of the Soroptimist Bristol Club went on a memory lane tour today, 7th May, when we visited Oakham Treasures, just outside Bristol in Portbury.
Oakham Treasures is one of the largest privately owned museums of retail and farming history in the UK where one can see a vast collection of memorabilia from the last century and earlier. One can only describe it as an incredible and hidden gem, with a vast collection of heritage items. Carol even found an old group photograph of Redland High School in Bristol where she was Headmistress! We all enjoyed a fascinating and nostalgic experience. Soroptimist SIGBI Oakham Treasures
