On 25 September there was a charity performance of ‘The Lion in Winter’ at Medway Little Theatre organised by Angela Howe. 
Medway and Maidstone Soroptimists and friends enjoyed an excellent amateur production of this historical dramatic comedy about who will inherit Henry’s 11’s crown and the plotting and betrayals that pursue.
This was a fundraiser event in aid of Medway Hygiene Bank and other Soroptimist causes. The proceeds from the ticket sales and raffle held on the night raised £327.50.
