Budding author Sue Williams (SI Harrogate & District) has just finished her first novel ‘Five Ladies And A Bus Called Bertha’. Congratulations Sue! The inspiration came during a summer lunch in 2019, while discussing how fingerprints wear away as you get older. She thought how useful this would be if she embarked on a life of crime. This idea grew into a full-length novel, but needless to say, any resemblance to Soroptimists past or present, is purely coincidental!
The book is available from Amazon, and Sue has decided to donate any profits to charity. These will be Toilet Twinning, Dementia Forward, Trussell Trust, and the Benevolent Fund,
