President Liz is delighted to pass on an update from Helen Marriott of Hamlin Fistula UK. The total raised by the region, including the match giving from the Big Give campaign is £2,036 so far, which is brilliant. Thank you for all your efforts. Of the 8 clubs in the region, 3 have had a speaker from Hamlin – Stourbridge, Stratford, and Kidderminster. If other clubs are interested in hearing about Hamlin, either Helen or the Chair of Trustees would be happy to go along to the meetings and inspire them to get involved in fundraising efforts.  Helen Marriott’s email address should you wish to contact her is Helen@hamlinfistulauk.org The latest Spring News Letter from Hamlin Fistula can also be viewed here Emaye – Spring 2023.

Budding author Sue Williams (SI Harrogate & District) has just finished her first novel ‘Five Ladies And A Bus Called Bertha’.  Congratulations Sue!  The inspiration came during a summer lunch in 2019, while discussing how fingerprints wear away as you get older.  She thought how useful this would be if she embarked on a life of crime.
