Nantwich and District Soroptimist club has donated the Dr Violet Pritchard Memorial Cup for Achievement in Science to Audlem St James School at the end of the 2026 school term.
The cup will be awarded to a pupil at the school for some special accomplishment in the field of science during the next academic year, and then annually, and commemorates the contribution Dr Pritchard made to science education and to supporting Audlem St James school during her long and productive life. Dr Pritchard was an active member of Soroptimism for over fifty years and was still regularly attending club meetings until a few days before her death in March at the age of 96.
