What we are doing
Members of Soroptimist International of Paisley are actively involved in a range of projects – locally, nationally and internationally – supporting women and girls to achieve their full potential.
Every member contributes in their own way. This includes donating goods, supporting fundraising events, raising awareness with others, washing dishes and acting as traffic marshalls on a cold winter’s night amongst many other things.
If you would like to know more about the organisations we support follow the links below for each one.
You can also support us by using Easyfundraising when you shop online
Our current work includes amongst other things, support for:
- Who Cares Scotland
- Renfrewshire Women’s Aid
- homeless people, especially women, through the Lodging House Mission
- Christmas boxes for Blythswood Care
- Renfrewshire Foodbank
- the STAR Project
- Reclaim the Night – Raising Awareness of Violence Against Women
- funding for Breast Cancer Support in the Royal Alexandra Hospital
