Not the biggest aspidestra in the world but Auctinoneer Daphne coaxed a generous bid for it at the Harvest Auction at the Welcome Inn Par. A total of £370 was raised for the Roll out the Barrel appeal. The barrel for transporting water elimnates the need for women in developing countries to carry heavy water containers on their heads. Our efforts ensured 13 barrels can be bought.
