Happy Club Friendship Day 2024
Happy Club Friendship Day to all our Soroptimists sisters around the world.
3 October 2024 is Soroptimist International Club Friendship Day. Soroptimist International celebrates the day that the very first Soroptimist Club was established in Oakland, California in 1921. Together, across continents and cultures, Soroptimists transform the lives of women and girls in need through local and international projects, friendship links with other clubs, and partnerships with local organisations that support the same vision as Soroptimist International.
To celebrate this special day, we gave yellow roses to one another. Yellow roses are the quintessential friendship flower. They symbolize friendship and happiness. Thank you Liane Gay for sharing this lovely photo!
