Soroptimist International of Port of Spain was founded in 1959 and is the founder Club of Soroptimist Clubs in the Commonwealth Caribbean. SI POS was the first Soroptimist Club in Trinidad & Tobago to work through service projects to advance human rights and the status of women. On Sunday, March 24th, 2019, S.I. Port of Spain, along with several members of the other eight Soroptimist Clubs in Trinidad and Tobago, celebrated its 60th Anniversary with breakfast at The Hotel Normandie, St. Ann’s. Below are a few photos of the celebration:

Friendship Day 2018

The most anticipated and talked about event on the SITT calendar for 2018 was Friendship Day, hosted by the ladies of SI Newtown. The theme – Tour around the World- allowed for all in attendance to learn some new things about various countries, sample different cuisines and wines from around the world and just have a good old time with our fellow sisters, some of whom we don’t often get to interact with in social setting. It was also an opportunity to welcome the two new proposed Clubs – Esperance & Anaparima – who were chartered a month later, into our fun-loving and sassy sisterhood.
