We celebrated International Women’s Day this year in a more virtual fashion. We wore purple at our meeting on 3rd March when we heard from Donna Maver, an inspiring local entrepreneur who has opened a successful refill and zero waste product shop during the pandemic.
On 8th March some members gathered (at a distance) outside Marischal College where the beautiful granite building was lit up purple by Aberdeen City Council to mark International Women’s Day.
Members also attended the International Women’s Day event at the Scottish Parliament where a variety of inspiring women told their stories.
