Our Christmas Party raised over £100 for the International President’s Fund – Women, Water & Leadership. After a delicious meal we had a short quiz about Women, Water & Leadership, charades, carol singing and the raffle was drawn with the hamper being won by one of our guests. Lots of fun and laughter on the night.
34 back packs were collected at our meeting on Monday 26th November, 2018 by Robert Carty representing Mary’s Meals.
Our quiz in October raised £1,000 for WaterAid. Over 100 enthusiasts formed teams of 6 to complete in this annual event. Supper of sausages rolls and sandwiches was served at the interval.
£1,000 raised at our summer lunch today, 12th Sept.2018. Over 100 family and friends of Soroptimists enjoyed a two course lunch with tea/coffee. Our raffle was well supported and as usual everyone enjoyed a relaxing afternoon.
