The meeting commenced with a buffet and then presentations of cheques were made to three representatives of organisations who benefited from fundraising during President Gillian’s year. They were Pam Sharp from St David’s Hospice who received £537 from the sale of knitted daffodils, Phyllis Pearson from Ty Gobaith who received £950 and John Roberts from Save the Children who was given £510. The latter two were President Gillian’s chosen charities, along with Mary’s Meals who were given £410 but unfortunately Tim Olsen could not attend.

The cheque presentation was followed by the Annual General Meeting. Then President Gillian was pleased to install
incoming President Pat with her chain of office.
