The speaker meeting in September was on Zoom when we had PhD student Beverly Pickard-Jones speak to us about the results of her project. Beverly approached us last year to ask us to help with her research project on visual perception. Several members took part in the computer test and all donated their fee to the club’s charity account. It was very interesting to find out the results!
Our speaker in October was our member Emma who told us about her career with North Wales Police. We were also very pleased to welcome a new member, Liz Rimmer. Liz has recently moved to Llandudno and is a friend of our member Heather.
Several members registered for the SIGBI Llandudno Conference which took place virtually. It would have been very exciting to host the Conference but it was decided to be too much of a risk.
