At the Annual General Meeting on Thursday, 12th April, we were pleased to see the new President and Joint President Elects being presented with their chains of office.
After the meting, we adjourned to the Wildwood Restaurant in Mostyn Street where we enjoyed a sociable meal together.
PROGRAMME ACTION Assisting the Police with their campaign to prevent Llandudno hotels being used as “pop-up brothels”.
Several members of SI Llandudno paired with police officers to visit 60 hotels in the resort, to raise awareness of sexual exploitation in pop-up brothels. Hotel managements were given advice on how to recognise and report it, a very worthwhile and successful operation. This was reported in the ITV news at 6pm on the same evening.
