To mark the centenary of the “Votes for Women” campaign, we held an open meeting for friends and members of other clubs and organisations to hear our very interesting speaker talking about “Suffragists and Suffragettes” in North Wales.
President Celia was delighted to be able to announce that the petition to the local council to place a plaque on the Cocoa House in Llandudno has been successful. The first meeting of Suffragists in North Wales was held at the Cocoa House.
