2018 marked the 100th anniversary of the Representation of the People Act 1918, which allowed some women over the age of 30 to vote for the first time. President Celia, with Soroptimists and other keen supporters, lobbied Llandudno Town Council to have a plaque put on the Cocoa House, to celebrate the part played by local ladies in the Votes for Women campaign.
