At the AGM, Presidents Pam and Cynthia were given the insignia from Presidents Sue and Mary who had served from January. Pam and Cynthia will be Presidents from April until the end of June. From the left- Pam, Cynthia, Sue and Mary.  

Speaker meetings November & January In November we welcomed  Sam Hodgins, who gave a very informative presentation on  Dementia Awareness. We are pleased to say that all  members present are now recognised as Dementia Friends. Also in November, some of our members attended the Remembrance Sunday service in Llandudno and laid a wreath at the Cenotaph. At our January speaker meeting, Nia Higginbotham gave a fascinating talk about ‘Grandmothers’ Peace’ and the 1923 Women of Wales Peace Appeal.

Janet’s wing walk Our very daring member, Janet, finally managed to do her wing walk in August after delays from the organisers. She wanted to complete the wing walk while being regional president to raise money for the region and her sponsorship raised an amazing total of £1451 which will be shared between several charities in North Wales, Wirral and Cheshire. Regional meeting and Change of Insignia 15 November 2025 Our member, Pat Kerfoot completed six years as regional secretary and finished her role at the meeting. Two of our members are regional officers for the coming year-  Janet Murfin is joint regional president and Melynda is regional PA Officer. Our tombola stand raised £83 for Soroptimist Charities.
