How did the Soroptimists wish Kent Association for the Blind a Happy 100th Birthday?

Today on 22 June 2020, Kent Association for the Blind (KAB) is celebrating their Centenary event to mark the 100 years of service they have given to supporting sight impaired people to live independent lives in and around Kent since 1920.

The celebrations they had planned for this special year have not gone ahead as originally planned but everyone involved in KAB wanted to wish them well and all their messages have been collated into a series of 3 video montages. We were pleased to send our best wishes which appear in the third video.

Medway and Maidstone Soroptimists have been reading for the KAB Talking News service for more than 30 years.  Due to the lockdown restrictions in place then the Talking News service has been suspended until further notice.  However, we look forward to resuming our support when it is confirmed to be safe to do so.
