Which Members successfully bid at Silent Auction for ABCD?

Members took part in President Alison’s Silent Auction at the March Regional Meeting. This was to raise monies for Action around Bethlehem Children with Disability (ABCD). ABCD  improves the lives of children with disabilities across Palestine regardless of faith race or gender.

Club member, Jane Barnes produced the catalogue, with information on the 16 lots that included descriptions and reserve price for each lot.

The goal was to raise monies to fund a Speech and Language Therapist for a year and then to apply for match funding.

The star buy was a double quilt – Jenni Mogridge (SI Bromley) had donated this item which she had made herself. The successful bidder for the quilt was Annette Davies (SI Medway and Maidstone). Janet Hughes successfully bid for a Kentish Map (1799), Carol McKeough for a day out in Whitstable, and Angela Howe for a Zoom lesson How to create an Excel spreadsheet.

President Alison extended her thanks to all those who supported this successful initiative by contributing or bidding for the varied lots. The sum raised to date is £1240.
