Social Media Workshop Many thanks to Rachel Weinhold from ‘Grow Traffic Ltd’ and SI Rossendale for hosting an engaging and informative workshop entitled ‘Using Social Media to Grow Your Membership’. The topics covered were: What are the general benefits of Social Media? How can we use Social Media to attract new members? Which Social Media product is best for a particular purpose?  Rachel’s message is that Social Media is here to stay.   Fun fact – The average person spends more than 5 years of their life using social media.  If you could not be there on the day, click on the link to view slides from the workshop: MAR Social Media Workshop Jan22

‘Women of Empowerment’ walking trail around Kenilworth

Along the trail, there are displays representing one hundred women, who Club members feel have empowered women locally, nationally, or globally, in diverse ways, and who may be historical or contemporary figures. Each woman was nominated by a club member and is represented by a poster giving a sense of how that woman has ‘made a difference and why that member wanted them to have a place in the ‘one hundred’ One of the members of SI Kenilworth had the bright idea of contacting some of the contemporary women.  We are delighted to have received several replies already, which you can read here: Trail of Empowerment
