Soroptimist International Nottingham attended Autokarna at Wollaton Park on Sunday 1st June and ran a very successful bookstall and tombola as well as raising awareness of the work of both Soroptimist International and the Women’s Centre. Overall £300 was raised, which will be donated to Nottingham Women’s Centre
Shortly afterwards members visited the Women’s Centre to see the ongoing work which the staff and volunteers there do, and President Vivienne Pearson presented a cheque for the proceeds to Manager Mel Jeffs.
