 16 Days Of Action to Raise Awareness of Violence Against Women

25 November to 10 December 

Each year Renfrewshire Council marks the 16 days with a march through the streets of Paisley

Reclaim the Night

Meet at the main entrance to the University of the West of Scotland at the top of the High Street

Each year, a short ceremony takes place in November, including the laying of a wreath in Dunn Square, Paisley to remember those who have lost their lives as a result of domestic violence.
Soroptimist International of Paisley have supported this event for a number of years including donating the wreath.
 Members will mark the 16 Days of Action by wearing orange to a club meeting and donating ‘orange’ food items which will then be donated to  Renfrewshire Foodbank
