November events

The Pink Raffle held during the month of October raised £144 for A Breast Cancer Charity. on 9th September a Soroptimist team of Kay Mary & Wendy took part in the Annual Lions Swimathon at Polkyth. Thanks to Kate from the team swimming in the next lane who helped out with a few lanes. The team swam for Bosum Buddies.  Also on 9th Club member Ann supported by club members held a Posh Jumble sale and raised £268 for the Ataxia Fund. On 10th November a group of members led by President Carole took part in the Remembrance Day Parade in St Austell.1 6th of November saw members taking part in the Torchlight Parade carrying the collecting buckets for the RNLI. On 21st the club organised a really successful Bingo night at Porthpean Golf Club raising £422 for Children’s Hospice SW.
