The presentations of trophies to winning teams has been delayed/cancelled due to Covid 19 restrictions. But the presentation of cheques to the four charities took place on Wednesday 15th July in Vivary Park, with social distancing safely observed. SI Taunton President, Fee Bellamy welcomed the Taunton Mayor, Francesca Smith, the charity representatives and some members of SI Taunton. Swimathon Co-ordinator Christine Briggs announced the total raised this year was £16,528.06. This means that over its 32 year history the grand total raised by the Swimathon is just over £677,000!
The Taunton Mayor presented a cheque for £4,132.06 to each of the charity representatives.
