Presentation Evening 2018

The presentations of trophies to winning teams and cheques to the four charities took place on Friday 27th April at Cheddon Fitzpaine Memorial Hall.  Swimathon Co-ordinator, Christine Briggs, welcomed all winning team members and friends and charity representatives. She announced the total raised this year was £20,189.49. However, there was prolonged applause when Christine mentioned that over its 30 year history the grand total raised by the Swimathon is just over £631,440!

The Taunton Mayor, Hazel Prior-Sankey, presented the trophies to the winning team members.  Among these were our own Soroptimist Swans as the team who raised the most sponsorship money – over £1,100.  The Mayor also presented the cheques to each of the charity representatives.
