On Saturday 22nd August, a beautiful garden in Herriard was the setting for a fundraising Regional lunch, generously hosted by Winchester members; Barbara Jeremiah and Kay Linnell. With the money raised, it is planned to kick start a funding pool. This will to enable Southern Region to offer some travel assistance to SI Jersey and SI Guernsey who have recently joined the Region.
The lunch was a delicious 2 course, collation of goodies with of course, a huge trifle. The sun was out, the shades erected and the garden, as enchanting as ever, invited exploration. 10 members of SI Winchester along with partners and friends were in attendance joining Soroptimists and friends from across the Region. It was a super friendship filled day.
