Soroptimist International - Aberdeen

Soroptimist International of Aberdeen is part of a worldwide organisation of women, which is linked to the United Nations.

Soroptimist International Aberdeen is part of a worldwide volunteer organisation for women who want to transform the lives of other women and girls.

We want to make a difference!

Our Aberdeen club has been around for over 90 years currently with a membership of around 30 women from a variety of different backgrounds. We are involved in a variety of activities including providing practical support for local projects, fund-raising, lobbying and enjoying social events.

Currently we are supporting Grampian Women’s Aid, Marie Curie, Mental Health Aberdeen, Instant Neighbour and Empowering Girls in Nepal.

We meet regularly and although currently most of our meetings are taking place virtually, we are still actively involved in supporting local, national and international projects.

Please have a look at our website and our Facebook page for more information and click on the contact link on the right to get in touch. We’d love to hear from you!
