Welcome to SI Cardiff and District
Welcome to the web site for Soroptimist International of Cardiff and District. The club founded in 1950, was sponsored by the Swansea Club during the Presidency of Miss Mabel Tait . The Founder President (1950-52) Miss B G Sneyd MA Bsc , presided at the Charter Dinner held at the Royal Hotel Cardiff on the 2nd December 1950 , at which the Charter was presented by Miss MH Bradley , Federation President and Vice –President of Homerton College Cambridge.
We are proud to have been active in the beautiful City of Cardiff since then. We have 14 members from all walks of life – Education, Health, Banking, Charity, Farming, Law, Insurance and lots more.
We meet at Whichurch Golf Club usually once a month on a Wednesday. You can find our calendar for this year here.
