Twenty two members and guests met for a delicious lunch at the Grange Hotel to celebrate 67 years of SI Grange and 100 years of Soroptimist International. Penny Ward spoke of the founding of Soroptimism and Violet Richardson’s words ” it’s what you do that counts”. Members watched a slide show of photos taken over 67 years depicting social events and the extensive projects undertaken. Our guests included mayor of Grange Tricia Thomas and Regional President Elect Val Thomas.
It was fun to wear hats for the occasion as these were just the thing for Club events years ago!
