Indian Evening and other summer events

Llandudno Soroptimists were treated to “A Taste of India” when club member Madhu and friends prepared food, brought saris and organised Bollywood dancing. Members from other clubs joined us for our Friendship Evening, helping to raise money for the Club Presidents’ charities. Everyone looked wonderful dressed in lovely saris.

Members also enjoyed a Coffee morning in Rhos, organised by Elaine to help raise money for the Bee Project.

All those who attended the Chernobuyl Cjildren’s Life Line 30th Anniversary Concert at the Pavilion Theatre in Rhyl, had a thoroughly good evening.

In August, club members and friends visited the Ellesmere Port National Waterways Museum and had afternoon tea at a near-by hotel.The weather was perfect for a ride in a narrowboat along the canal.
