Medway and Maidstone Soroptimists provided the women and children with some Easter gifts. These were chocolates for the Mums and Easter eggs and a knitted trauma bear for each child.
They were dropped off this week in plenty of time for Easter. The gifts were extremely well received especially loving the bears.
It can be a difficult time for the families affected by domestic abuse. It is hoped this small gesture will bring some comfort and enjoyment for each of them over this holiday period.
After the visit a staff member sent a thank you message saying ‘We appreciate your kindness and are grateful to everyone and wishing you all a Happy Easter’.
