We are always working on projects to support women and girls both locally and across the world. Currently we are busy collecting bras and new knickers for Smalls for All; filling handmade bags with essential household products for Surrey Women’s refuges; collecting 5ps to fund two interns training as teachers with the assistance of South African Soroptimists; assembling emergency packs for the Palliative Care Unit of the Royal Surrey County Hospital and lobbying the government on aspects of proposed legislation that directly impact women and girls in the UK. We’re also busy planning our Conference “Is Surrey Safe for Women?” in conjunction with the other Surrey Soroptimist Clubs.
