The collection at the Co-op in Old Town Swindon raised a total of £207 for the women and children made homeless by the floods in Pakistan. Some of the Swindon shoppers were very generous and interested in who we are and why we were collecting. We had a display of photographs and information about the devastation to the lives of the women and children in Pakistan and the work being done by Soroptimists through UNICEF to help them.
