SI Winchester members Carol and Jennifer have delivered the books for World Book Night to four Charities – Emmaus, Winchester Women’s Refuge, Trinity and Winchester Churches Night Shelter.
The people in the shot are from The Night Shelter and gave permission for this photo to be used on the website. They were particularly pleased with the book ‘Street Cat Bob’ by James Bowen. Both the staff and clients had heard of it as it highlights life on the streets.
This is the third year that SI Winchester and District has been successful in being selected as an agent, enabling us to give books to these charities.
