Carol Forse writes: ‘We have had an amazing response to our invitation to school pupils in Winchester and Romsey to make pillow case dresses for girls in Gambia. So far we have had 102 entries in total from schools plus additional dresses made and donated by other groups.
In addition £150 has been raised by Mountbatten school, Romsey, for knickers and flipflops to be sent with the dresses.’
