To celebrate International Women’s Day Bilston Soroptimists, with the kind permission of The Excel Centre in Bilston, mounted displays. It was an opportunity not only to promote the work of Soroptimist International Bilston & District, but also to focus on inspirational women and explain the meaning of the worldwide International Women’s Day and the theme for 2019 is “Better the Balance, better the world” #Balance for better.
During the week-end visitors to the church and centre showed interest in the displays and took away informative leaflets.
